Refund and Returns Policy
This policy shall govern the terms of refund and return of orders/products placed by the user/customer. The terms and conditions of this policy shall be binding on all users/customers.
cewaa understands that in the course of business transactions and placing orders, the placing of orders and the delivery can go wrong and therefore, cewaa offers “questions asked” return facility to its users’ customers, subject to certain conditions. The “no questions asked” return policy will apply to users who verify the products delivered at the time of delivery itself and initiate the return with the delivery executive at the time of delivery. Apart from the above, the return of any product shall only be available to any user/customer as per the following conditions.
The issue of return of a product only arises once the delivery is taken. Once the user takes delivery of a product, the product becomes non-returnable and shall not be taken back unless the same is damaged, defective, expired or is not the product as ordered from the cewaa platform.
The user undertakes to initiate return of the product within half an hour of the delivery of the product and in case the user fails to do so then in that case cewaa reserves the right not to take return of the product unless it is satisfied that the delay was genuine. The decision taken by cewaa on such delayed return shall be final.
Once the user initiates the return within the time specified above and the return request is accepted by cewaa, cewaa’s delivery executive (third party or in house) will collect the product within the time period as specified by cewaa within the app. The delivery executive will independently verify if the product so returned is the same for which the return was initiated and that it is in the condition as specified by the user at the time of initiating return.
No right to return.
The user understands that return of a product once delivered is within the exclusive domain of cewaa and cewaa has the last right to decide on the return of a product and no user will be entitled to demand a return based on any previous precedence with any other user.
Once the product is taken back by the delivery executive then cewaa will initiate a refund process for the said product.
Refund
The refund of an order for which the money has already been received and the order stands cancelled, or refund of an order for which the money has already been received and a product is returned, shall be made by cewaa within 7 working dates from the date of such order cancellation or return being accepted. The maximum refund amount in any case would be Rs. 5,000/-.
“cewaa wallet” is the amount processed during a refund/or when a user sells their scrap products via cewaa, these can be used when the user purchases any goods from the cewaa platform in the future.
The user understands that it has no vested right to demand refund in the bank account and therefore cewaa reserves the right to refund the money either directly to the bank account, digital wallet of the user or in the form of cewaa wallet points. cewaa wallet points will work as a credit note and the user can use these cewaa wallet points to redeem them against orders on the platform.
The user understands that cewaa shall have the final call on the mode and manner of refund.
